The whisky is crafted using peated malt, imparting a deep, smooth smokiness, and is matured in Spanish oak casks, which contribute rich flavors of dark mocha, raisins, and almonds. On the palate, it offers a harmonious blend of roasted cacao and a velvety texture, leading to a long, bittersweet finish with caramelized baking spices. The packaging features designs inspired by Chiso kimonos, with intricate prints depicting three merging rivers, symbolizing the serene environment of the Yamazaki distillery.
